Virtual patients without ethnic boundaries
Gender, skin colour, age, weight or height are not restrictions for VMS. Your patient may also be a pregnant woman. It’s up to you what the patient will look like at the beginning of the simulation and what condition will present. Simulation of patients after accidents, explosions, gunshots or cardiological and neurological symptoms is no longer a problem. Thanks to the patient editor, you can configure an infinite number of patients and place them in any simulation environment.
Simulation environment
In the world of VMS, you have a choice at which stage you enter it. It also determines your role as a participant in the simulation. You can play the role of First Responder, Ambulance Technician, Student Paramedic, Paramedic, HART Paramedic, Senior or Advanced Paramedic, Bronze, Silver or Gold Commander, Healthcare Assistant, Student Nurse, Nurse, Junior Doctor, Registrar, Physician, Consultant, Police officer, Armed Police officer, Fireman or Soldier. Your role determines your scope of practice and responsibilities. Thanks to our multiplayer features, you can conduct extensive interdisciplinary simulations with more simultaneous participants.

Simulation participant
Multifaceted education of simulation participants. In our simulator, the participant has extensive interaction options with both the patient and elements of the simulation environment. The participant can use equipment from simple tools to a fully functional defibrillator or ventilator. The VMS also allows you to interact with the patient to perform the examination using hands rather than commands. During the session, the participant can collect a medical history, order the required laboratory tests or administer previously requested medications.
Instructor & Debriefing
The instructors are crucial to the whole educational process in the simulation. Their actions and interventions may improve or worsen the patient’s condition in manual scenarios. In automatic mode, the instructors watch over the correct course of the simulation. If necessary, they can increase the difficulty level and manually change the patient’s parameters at any time. All activities performed by the participants and the instructor are recorded, stored, and used for debriefing and subsequent assessment of the session steps. This option allows deep analysis of actions taken. In the debriefing panel, participants will see critical errors, wrong decisions and minor mistakes. Undoubtedly, it is an excellent element of learning, development and reflection – which significantly eliminates making these mistakes in real life and practice.
Local protocols & procedures
For a virtual simulation to be effective, it must relate to the requirements and procedures of the real world. We know it perfectly well. That’s why we give you software in which you define the procedures and protocols applicable in your country or training centre. You will choose the parameters of the patient and his reaction to the actions of the simulation participants. From now on, nothing will limit you in your simulation.
Multiplayer
VMS allows multiple users to participate in one simulation session simultaneously. Place any clinician and a member of the patient’s family in one scenario and follow the development of events, which you will then analyze in the debriefing panel.
VR & non VR
Our simulator allows simultaneous participation in the simulation of people using VR technology and those participating via a PC or laptop. Now everyone will be able to take part in the simulation. And with the option of remote simulation, even at a distance
Patient parameters
We offer you a patient editor with 252 editable parameters. The instructors can freely change them during the simulation. Thanks to our editor, you have unlimited possibilities to create new patients adapted to the needs of a particular simulation.
Scenario Creator
Using our simulator, you can access scenarios already existing in our database. You also get the opportunity to create scenarios adapted to your local protocols and procedures. In addition, at the client’s request, we supplement the database with the desired scenario. All of them are provided free of charge.
Interdisciplinary simulations
The extensive Multiplayer mode can simultaneously place a Paramedic, Fireman, Doctor, Soldier, Policeman, etc., into one simulation environment. This function allows participants to exercise communication skills by cooperating with all rescue and law enforcement services.
Non-Technical Skills
Our simulator will help develop highly valued soft skills, including communication, time management, network cooperation, empathy, critical thinking, proactiveness and self-awareness. Both contact with the patient and his family, as well as between the hospital staff or emergency services, is crucial in achieving final success.
